Art has always been a passion for Jason Hughes. As a child and teenager Jason wanted to be a car designer, inspired greatly by Thom Taylor and Ed "Big Daddy" Roth. But, also had a interest is music and entertainment illustration.

After moving to Detroit, Michigan, the automotive capital, Jason changed his concentration from automotive design to Visual Communication, Business and Marketing. Focusing mainly on the creative side in design and illustration. Jason studied illustration under famous Star Wars illustrator Matt Busch, learning to paint and draw realistically. Jason began to find his own unique style going
beyond the realistic in both traditional and digital illustration drawing influence from illustrators Jasper Goodall, Marco Almera, Shepard Fairey (Obey Giant),
and Tara McPherson.

Now, Jason's unique style of illustration and design are applied to create visuals
for advertising, editorials, publishing, collectables, and private commissions.
